Happily married couple 15 years. Long history of vaginal pain during intercourse, a surgery, and continued probelms has forced us to entertain other methods of intimacy. Anal sex has become the principal form of penetration for us. Otherwise extremely healthy attractive couple in our early 40's, wondering if there are other couples who have somehow come to adopt anal has "their" preferred way to enjoy intimacy?

I was in a car accident in June where I broke my pelvis, so my husband and I had to turn to alternative methods while I healed. It was all oral for awhile, but we tried a little vaginal when I could walk a bit to see how bad it would be. Nothing too painful, but nothing pleasurable either. My pelvis broke right by the entry point, so at the time, the bones were still healing back together. Anyway, long story short, we've gotten in the habit of more anal than vag over the past couple months. You're not alone :) Granted, we're in our 20s, but there is no age when it comes to sex, right?
