Have you tried masturbating less often and seeing if that reduces or eliminates the pain? If so then simply do it less often as your balls may simly not be able to handle you masturbating that often.
That being said anything that causes you to feel significant and recurrant pain should be brought to the attention of your doctor. You never know what the problem is or wether it could be the first sign of something worse than what you expected until you do.

You don't masturbate enough for me to suggest that you stop because two or three times a week for a guy is like nothing...haha. I do it more than that and I'm a girl. It doesn't sound like anything good to be honest. I can't give any medical advice because I'm not trained, licensed, or knowledgeable enough to do so. I'd say go see a doctor in your area. I may have equated it to growing pains in puberty, but you're 26. That wouldn't make sense. go see someone about it...seriously. It may be nothing, but you won't know until you ask.

Heaven, FYI: Wile I can in no way to claim my experience is universal, I experienced no "growing pains" with my balls and AFAIK it doesn't happen.

The balls can get and stay quite sore for several hours after cumming. But this should generally not be case the day after, at least in my experience. I suggest looking up Taoist methods of testicle stimulation which really goes into methods of testicle massage that can both enhance sex (or masturbation) and help relax the soreness after cumming.
