Only thing I will add is if you are washing yourself up before or after, try not to use soap. Soap can affect the pH balance of your vagina and give rise to a potential higher chance of a yeast infection or other potential infections.
Use a feminine wash or pH neutral wash like QV or Hamiltons.

AMS (the Medical Mizard ) · Yes, that would still technically be considered a soap. Smells nice but in the long run can potentially be problematic. It is not uncommon for ladies to detect vaginal odour, wash with soap, make the odour worse, wash even more, make it even worse and so on.

I dont like if its too clean where there is no smell or taste at all. That is not fun or exciting to me. I like that natural "aroma" and love the taste if things are healthy. Like eating pussy and do it a LOT. If things are spontaneous and the girl does not have a chance to freshen up, it could smell funky so don't feel offended if the guy tends to shy away from going down on you.

Not all men like the taste of pussy and that doesn't mean it's the girls fault, it's just something they aren't keen on. Pretty much the same way not all women like swallowing during blow jobs, that's not his fault either.
All you need to do is make sure that you are clean and infection free then you're good to go. All women have a certain smell about them and that is usually what draws men to that area in the first place. However if you smell really fishy you could have a bacterial thing going on and the doctor will sort that out easy peasy.
If you can't smell yourself, in a bad way, then don't panic, you'll taste just fine. Oh and just as one last comment, if you are nearing your period then your taste will be a bit stronger so bear that in mind when planning on doing it :-)

First, I think if he's willing to go down on you, that's a surprise in of itself! a lot of guy's are hesitant about doing that, and have to be convinced. The normal smell of a Vagina is kind of faint, musky scent, if it turns out you have a really bad smelling vagina, the only way to find out is to let him try on you and see what he say's! lol. As long as you keep your vagina clean, and don't have an excessive sweat problem, I don't see why your vagina would taste any different than my vagina, or any girls vagina for that matter!
My best advice is to just let him try it out, if it smells weird or taste's weird to him, I assure your relationship will be fine, odds are he's probably gonna love it, and your gonna love it too..because it feel's amazing :)

Megan · Hm, I honestly don't know if the diet thing applies to female sperm, I tried looking it up but I couldn't find any answers. I know it's a pretty reliable fact that eating healthy foods can change the taste of male sperm, but not sure about girls. You could always try eating healthier fruits and veggies, who knows? it may actually work :)
