Your friend sounds like he's trying to hide his bisexuality by putting down gay people...sort of an overcompensation thing. Guys with small dicks are usually the ones bragging about how big theirs are. It's the same principle. If you truly think your friend would not judge you, you could try to bring it up to him somehow. I worry that it would make things super awkward between you, but I don't know the extent of the relationship.
If you bring it up, I would maybe act like you've been getting these unexplained feelings and you don't know what to do about them. If your friend is understanding about that, you could just casually be like "Oddly enough, I've pictured actually sucking your dick. Funny right?" Then gauge his reaction from there.You could go on to say that you want to try it out, but you don't want to do it with someone you can't trust. Then maybe if all goes well, you could ask if he'd let you do it.
Be careful throughout this process not to jeopardize the friendship, but it may be worth a shot. I understand about not wanting to search for a dick to suck...that gets really awkward really fast. Maybe some fantasy would help? There are tons of gay men on cam sites like chatroulette and omegle that you could have a web fling with. That way things are safe but still semi-kinky. That would be my best suggestion.
