For one, I can tell you as a successful college student that sorority association doesn't really mean a whole lot in the real world. I know there is a big hype about it, but really, it's not that big of a deal. You don't HAVE to be in one.
With that said, I know the pressure involved here, so I understand that you want to do whatever it takes to get into this place. I don't think it's even remotely just for you to have to deepthroat some guy to do it, and if your chances of getting in weren't on the line, I would seriously report such an act to campus authorities. You won't because you want in, but again, that's an option.
That sucks about your friend's boyfriend. Guys who are reading this should note that women like a forewarning before you're about to cum. In my point of view, its kind of similar to prostitution. maybe its like a pyramid scheme - why should they stop when they had to do it? might be the thinking. also, if they didnt like it and you go through the same thing you've both bonded over surviving/overcoming some adverse trial and are closer for it (like all hazing rituals, which seem to be fairly common in many tribes as well, usually something painful or scary, check out traditions in many tribal societies). it's up to you if you dont want to do it, but perhaps the reasons the sorority's connections are so strong is because of this effect of surviving adversity together. stupid way to do that, but check out management 'retreats' where bunches of people get together and do dumbass stuff like trying to get a huge rock up a hill together, or survive some other outdoor trial or otherwise. seems pretty common. you dont have to do it, obviously but the sorority probably wont accept you.. (perhaps offer some other trial that's more palatable?)
