You don't technically have to take any precautions befor have anal. For the man's safety, at least use a condom so no fecal matter gets into the dick hole. Use lubricant for both your sakes because anal hurts the woman the first few times. The chance of disease is low, but it is a possibility. That's why I recommend a condom. Anal doesn't have to be a big ordeal if you don't want it to be. Any suggestions you read about are all just recommendations. They are not requirements.
