Hi. I'm a straight single female (22). I'm pretty sure that every time I have had an orgasm from a man I have this awful "guilty" feeling that follows. Party of me thinks this is because I'm not "in love" with the person. The guilt doesnt come before... just after I orgasm. I'm not a religous person at all.. so I dont think I'm going to hell or anything.. I dont know, have you ever heard of this before? Any advice?

Would you believe it if I told you there was a name for this (well, a couple actually):
1. Post-coital blues
2. Post-coital dysphoria
Pretty normal and does affect both men and women. If I remember it is supposed to affect about 30% of the population. Severe cases (suicidal depression post orgasm, bi-polar manic attack post coitus) can be treated with serotonin reuptake inhibitors but again, this is for severe cases with a pre-existing condition.

I used to have a feeling similar to that when I was a bit younger, I'm pretty sure it's just your blood-flow and your heart-rate coming down after it was off the charts for the orgasm, or in my case the masturbation. The "Crash" can affect you mentally as well, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, very common.

GG · I'm not entirely sure what the guilt is about for you but i think in my husbands case, he has a lot of fetishes and can get quite descriptive with his dirty talk and his actions but when he's cum he remembers what he's said. A bit like doing stuff when you are drunk and then regretting it the morning after i guess.

It's actually quite common to feel 'guilty' after an orgasm so i wouldn't worry about it. My husband gets it sometimes still and he's married to me and very much in love.
