i have a wife with 3 kids, my wife spends most of her time away from me, if she is at home she sits away from me, everytime i go on about sex she has a right go at me, sex is a no subject in our house, she has even accused me of having an affair many times, which i have not. however i think she is going off me, i am interested in my friend she is also married with 2 kids and is having relationship problems with her partner and when we are in each others company we are happy as we are always laughing and smiling together, what do i do, i am confused can someone please help me.

While i mull over the rest of my reply the first thing i will say is this:
STAY AWAY FROM YOUR MARRIED FRIEND!
It wont work, even if you think it will, it wont. You'd never trust each other as you had both cheated in previous relationships. Plus it would just get too messy.

I agree with GG about your married friend am afraid you might be suffering from "the grass is always greener" idea. The main problem being that there would 5 kids involved.
I'm not saying that you don't deserve to be happy or to be with someone who enjoys your company but how you feel about your friend may be amplified by your negative feelings about the current state of the relationship with your wife.
The only advice i could give is to leave sex out of it for a bit and try to work on other aspects of your relationship. If i had to venture a guess i would say your wife is just tired and would like some time to unwind without others making demands on her time. There also seems to be a trust issue and that needs to be addressed. Ask her why she feels you have been unfaithful and what you can do to make her feel better about your relationship...Also i have to ask when you say "Away from you" does that mean off by herself ...OR is she off dealing with the kids or household chores and the like.

Lets not forget, sometimes when a spouse or partner is distant like that and tries to separate themselves or rufuses to talk about sex and then turns around and accuses the other of being unfaithful, that can sometimes mean that they are in fact the one who cheated and their guilt is so much that they try and blame the other person. I'm not trying to be a downer, just saying it's a real possibility. GG is right though, stay away from the married friend, and don't " go on about sex " around her, that's for sure not gonna help any.

Don't cheat on her! Tell her how you feel. If she really loves you, maybe propose counselling, that can help you talk things over as you should!
