Lets face it. You've been there before. A message comes in that you DO NOT want your significant other to see. Heck, you don't even want them to know that messages have come in.
Here are three short tips to keep your text messages private:
1. VIBRATE MODE
Most phones allow you to turn on vibrate mode for text messages. That way when you're down and dirty with your mate, messages from your lover can be coming in quietly.
2. PASSWORD PROTECTION
How many times have you seen someone just pick up your phone and read the messages on it? You've seen it in the movies, heck, even your own phone. Turn on password protection. Its a little bit of a hassle, but it could save your relationship.
3. DO NOT DISPLAY NEW MESSAGES
Most phones have a feature to just show that you have a new text message, instead of displaying the whole message. I've heard of people getting in trouble because a new message just popped up on the screen without even a by-your-leave. Keep those messages hidden!
4. BONUS TIP - DELETE MESSAGES
Every week or so, delete any incriminating messages. Yeah, your girlfriend telling you she'll suck the life out of your dick is cute, but if your wife sees it, its toast. Commit it to memory and delete that message. Ask your girlfriend to write in code, or something! Just sayin'.

If you have anything to hide from your partner, its not a good thing. You shouldnt need to hide anything from your love. :)
But i did all of this with my bf, as my email and everything else got hacked by him... He wanted controll, and by deleting everything and new password longer than my emailaddress, realy did the trick. :P

Andy ( Giggity Giggity Goo) · Yep.
Macky · Please excuse me for being blunt. But is this a site for people to get information about sex called askmygirlfriend, or a site to teach people how to cheat on their significant others called ashleymadison I get the whole "don't judge what others want to do" but can we agree to draw the line at not promoting behavior that leads to harming others or breaking the law? My 2 cents, but this is not appropriate.
Thor! · Its a site for people who have everyday problems with sex and relationships. The behavior in this post does not break the law. In fact, it reduces harm -- to the other party. Here at AskMyGirlfriend we want to be positive about sex, and realize that monogamy is a pipe dream... at best. If you're not sex positive (to be blunt), then perhaps this site is just not for you.
Wec4ever (any Girls/ts Slave) · oooh sorry

Best way to avoid it is to stay out of situations to get those messages. Odds are if you're doing something you don't want your significant other to find out about, unless you're preparing a surprise trip or a party in his/her honor, you're doing something wrong.
Why continue doing something you have to hide if its discovery will cause problems?
