If it just happened, give it some time. you will need to prove herself to her. Work on staying loyal to your job and your son, and show that you are a responsible person. Don't date anyone in the meantime, and try to stay in minor contact with the gf...just enough for her to remember you are around. Work on becoming her friend again, and then you may be able to squeeze back into a relationship if she's willing to let you in. You have to let her forgive you first.
