A cheating partner usually gets careless at some point in time, and you always find out about it eventually. But how can you be absolutely sure that your suspicions are justified? Nobody wants to run a relationship like Colombo running a case file but cheaters don’t deserve your trust. Here are some tips to help you catch a cheater:
Analyzing the situation
Before you start hiring a private eye, make sure your partner really is cheating and you are not pandering to some imaginative and over developed jealous streak you might have had for years without realizing it! It can be embarrassing to work up to the big exposure scene, only to find it has all been in your mind and your partner was never disloyal to you.
Reading body language of a cheater

Body language can be extremely useful when trying to out a cheat because you can make fairly accurate assessments on whether you are being given a truthful story, as long as the body language is understood correctly. Use the knowledge you gain and combine it with some common sense procedures to decide whether you are the victim or the unfair accuser.

Women are more trusting of their spouses and boyfriends and do not actually step in early enough to avoid disaster a great deal of the time. A man’s instinct for being ‘done to’ is more finely honed, it would seem. This is thought to be a result of the fear of having someone else’s child passed as theirs. Predictably, women’s reputations for revenge are considered to be of a more serious nature, so whatever you do, don’t get caught by your girlfriend if you are the one who is cheating.

That being said, if you are almost 100% sure your partner is being unfaithful, perhaps they deserve to be spied on! Trapping a cheater
Try a honey trap. Try to set up a date with your partner online to see if they respond. If they do, don’t reveal the set up until you have absolute evidence: letting the facts out too early could be the difference between deeper suspicions and absolute proof. Following your partner’s car to see where they go is tiresome and not always informative as the most innocent trip to an unknown address might prompt suspicion yet turn out to be completely innocuous.
Talking to the cheater
When all else has failed and you have exhausted yourself playing Sherlock Holmes, you could always ask him or her and save yourself further agony and doubt. They might surprise you and tell the truth! If not, then at least look at their reactions and figure out if they are lying or not.
