How To Date a Nurse

Sex Tip

People who work in the field of nursing enjoy fast-paced careers that bring a variety of challenges and interesting encounters each day.  They also have a reputation as caregivers, which makes them appealing people to date.  Whether you’re interested in dating a nurse because you think that people in the profession possess a certain level of compassion or you’ve always had a fantasy about a relationship with a naughty nurse, there are steps you can take to increase your chances of dating a nurse.
Getting a nurse to notice you
Hanging out in the emergency room or turning into a hypochondriac isn’t the best way to get the attention of a nurse, however.  You’ll want instead to first get a nurse’s attention as a potential partner, not a patient.  Like with so many other professions and interests, there are websites and services that cater specifically to people who are looking for nurses, doctors and other medical professional for romantic relationships.  You might also consider attending functions designed for nurses, volunteering at the hospital, or occasionally dining in the hospital cafeteria.  (Contrary to popular belief, hospital food is usually only bland and tasteless for patients, but the food served to patrons in the cafeteria is often very good.)
Staying clean for the nurse
Once you’ve secured a date with a nurse or even started a relationship with one, there are some important things to keep in mind about people in this profession.  For instance, nurses work in an environment that must remain very sterile and in which they’re exposed to a lot of disease, so it’s in your best interest to practice exceptional hygiene to protect both you and your date.
Thinking about the stress of nursing
Remember also that nurse’s are engaged in very stressful work because they’re working with sick people and often have to make medical related decisions in a split second.  That’s a lot of pressure for anyone, and nurses tend to be compassionate people who “take their work home with them.”  For this reason it’s a good idea to let your nurse boyfriend or girlfriend decompress for a bit after he or she gets home from working a long shift.  It’s also wise to ask the nurse what was the best thing that happened that day at work rather than simply what happened that day at work.  Couching your question in this way won’t immediately remind the nurse of the patient lost that day or the bed sores that had to be dressed and will instead allow him or her to focus on a positive point like a patient that got a clean bill of health.
Treating your nurse right
Finally, keep in mind that despite working very hard in an incredibly stressful environment, nurses are generally overworked and underpaid.  Additionally, they often take verbal abuse from patients, doctors and other colleagues, which can cause even the most committed and compassionate nurse to call his or her career choice into question on occasion.  Take care of your nurse the same way she or he takes care of others by reminding the medical professional you appreciate and admire the work they do.
