Girls are brought up to believe that dainty is best and girls who fit in nice and snugly under a man’s armpit are the ones who are widely thought to be the prettiest, the cutest or the most feminine. Nothing could be further from the truth. Tall girls are generally the exclusive choice for major fashion houses as their height carries clothes to the best advantage. Some of the most celebrated women of the modern age have been well over six feet. In spite of the evidence that shows taller girls can be beautiful and elegant, girls who are tall continue to carry massive inferiority complexes about their height and you will often see a tall girl stooping to compensate for her boyfriend’s diminished stature. Girls who are tall can always look for a tall boyfriend but men who are too short will always have the dwarf complex and be looked down upon not only by taller men but by taller women, which is even worse! Seeing if your girlfriend likes her height
If your girlfriend is taller than average, find out first whether she is sensitive about her height. If she is not, her height will not be an issue in any event, and if she is there are some things you can do or say to make her feel less self conscious. Tell her she is beautiful, for one thing. Nobody feels beautiful until they are told by some else that they are attractive.
Keeping your opinions about how tall she is to yourself
Taller girls nearly always begin their dating lives feeling self conscious and worrying about their height; sizing men up before agreeing to dance, worried that when they stand up, the man’s mouth will fall open in shock. If you are one of those men, keep your mouth shut and graciously dance as if the girl was of average height, she won’t hurt you! Don’t ask her to look shorter…
If you are dating a tall girl, do not ask her to wear flat heels. If she is taller than you, get over it. Tell her she looks great in whatever she is wearing and remember Tom Cruise got to be a superstar with an entire harem of tall ladies on his arm. Reacting to her height in public
When you are out with a tall girl and other people remark on her height, the answer you should give is, “Yeah, she sure is tall, isn’t she just beautiful…?” It will deflate whoever was rude enough to make the remark and make your girlfriend proud to be seen with you. Then all you have to do is walk off with her arm over your shoulder, tucked nicely away in her armpit…
