How To Deal With Wedding Day Jitters

Sex Tip

You’re getting married tomorrow and it’s one of the most important decisions of your life. Wedding day jitters are normal, but they can definitely dampen an otherwise happy day. The nerves make people start to question their decisions, or even worse, they call the wedding off altogether because they feel it’s a bad idea now. You don’t want to let that happen to you. So here are some tips when those jitters try to get you down:
Using music to calm you
If you’re feeling a little bit nervous, listen to your favorite song or music. If you’re experiencing wedding day jitters try putting your mind into something else. Music soothes the soul and relaxes your mind. Thinking too much about a stressful situation only makes it worse. Get that iPod or your favorite music player stick it to your ears and let the music take you away.
Having a wedding dress rehearsal
You might be feeling jitters because you don’t exactly know what to do on the altar or what to do during the ceremony, so it’s a good idea to rehearse with your bride/groom and get a dry run. People are nervous or afraid of the unknown. Not knowing what exactly to do during the wedding just puts unnecessary pressure on you. Stressful situations can be avoided by practicing and knowing exactly where to go from point A to point B. Constant practice makes it perfect and walking and standing in front of the altar will just be second nature to you.
Taking your mind off the jitters
Do something you love doing. If you love playing the guitar or reading books just do it. It helps you forget for a while the day ahead and gives you time for you to put things in perspective. If you like going to the beach and hitting the waves, now would be the best of times to do so. A wedding is one of the most important days in your life. Doing something you love reminds you of who you are and brings you peace.
What if I’m nervous way before the wedding?
If you feel those jitters way before the wedding, take a quick trip out of town or check out your favorite place to hang out. An hour of driving in the interstate or just driving around town helps take your mind off the stress. Going to places like parks and theme parks gets you to focus on the fun side of life and how easy things could be. It tells you that life goes on even after marriage.
Working out to get rid of nerves
A quick round of basketball or playing a game of baseball or a trip to the gym helps you take some of the stress that you feel. Visits to the gym or pumping some weights helps you to release some of the tension and leaves you feeling exhausted. It won’t give you any time for thinking what’s going to happen tomorrow.
Seeking advice from your friends
Talk to somehow about how you’re feeling. Look for a friend or even your future partner and just talk about it. Tell them how you really feel and find someone who will just listen to you. Being open and honest about everything so you can get the best advice. Keeping it to yourself only makes it harder and leaves you looking like an emotional wreck.
A fun way to ease the nerves…
Having sex is also one great way of getting rid of those jitters. Sex is a powerful tool, and it brings out strong emotions and tension. A good round of sex will leave you gasping for breathe with no time for thinking about what could go wrong on your wedding day.  You may end up thinking about your wedding night though…
The need for rest before a wedding
Be sure to get a good night sleep before the wedding. Relaxing your body and mind through sleep lets your body recover from the stress. A full night’s sleep also rejuvenates your energy for the wedding day. A well relaxed body goes a long way in helping you cope with the jitters.
