Oh younger women. They get you every time, right boys? Indeed, it’s often quite tempting to go for the young, hot and vibrant women in the world because they bring out certain fantasies that an older woman could not. There’s nothing wrong with older women – don’t get me wrong. The younger ones are just a bit more tempting at times. If you’re an older gentleman looking for the company of a younger woman, there are some things you can do to help yourself look a little less like a pervert (as that will be the consensus initially). Don’t start off telling her how pretty she is
What? That doesn’t work? When you’re working with someone your age, a physical compliment works just fine. However, when it comes to younger women, gawking at their beauty will be a sure sign that you’re a perv, even if you aren’t. Women love compliments, sure, but they can sense a come on a mile away. If you don’t want to be cast as a creepy old man at a bar, try a different approach.
Speaking of the bar…
You really want to choose your spot for seduction carefully as some places are notorious for having perverts in them. Bars, clubs, and the general drunken areas are full of people looking for a quick lay. Avoid those at all costs. Young women hang out at coffee shops, libraries, grocery stores, and other places you may just be on a regular basis. Talk to them there. The wrong environment can easily set off the wrong signals.
Try to find something you have in common
Since you can’t talk about beauty initially, try to converse about something you can tell you have in common with the person. If she’s reading a book you know of or like, strike up a conversation about it. If she’s wearing a shirt with your favorite football team on it, start a discussion around that. Plan your conversation around intellect, not physical attraction. You will woo her a lot easier that way.
Don’t show off your money
If you start to act like a rich guy, she’s just going to think you’re trying to buy her off. No woman wants to end up as a gold digger, and those that do will come to you instead of the other way around. Thus it may be best to put the wallet away and minimize your talk of work. Establish yourself as a person, not as old moneybags.
Ask her on a date
To ask a younger woman out, make sure that she is in fact interested and then politely say something like “This has been a lot of fun. Would I be imposing to ask for your number?” By asking her permission, you decrease that pervert vibe. She might even find your approach charming, which is always a plus. Always be yourself, no matter who you hit on, and you will get good results every time (unless you are in fact a pervert).
