It's pretty unnerving when you think that you've finally found a good girl and then she starts to act sort of crazy. If she is crazy then you will probably start to see signs in the first few months of the relationship, and you should never ignore these signals. If your girlfriend is making you question her sanity but you don't know for sure, compare these signs with your girlfriend's actions.
Calling Constantly
It's normal for her to want to know what is going on in your life but it is not normal for her to be calling you 100-times a day. If she uses the phone as a GPS device – to find out where you are, who you're with, what you're doing, where you're going next, if there are other girls there, when you'll call her, etc.– this is a sign of obsessive behavior. If you don't answer her calls or texts then she starts to interrogate you and questions your whereabouts. She might even call your friends or your family to cross check what you tell her. Take note of these signs of paranoia because if she is unstable then they will only worsen with time.
She Picks Irrational Arguments In Public
Picking irrational arguments in private is annoying but picking them in public is embarrassing. If your girl takes small issues and blows them up and then starts screaming at you in public, you probably have something to worry about. If she blows up and starts cursing at you in front of family or friends then you know she is probably just looking for attention – even if it's negative. However, if she wants that kind of attention then she probably has issues. Also, notice how she handles conflict with other people. If she cannot control herself with you then she most likely does the same thing to others, and that's not someone that you want to be associated with.
She Is Violent
Men are not the only ones that are abusive in a relationship, women can be abusive as well. Just because she is smaller than you does not mean that you should look past her violent behavior. It's not normal for a woman to hit you, punch you, or assault you with weapons. Take a look at her history in this department as well. If she talks about multiple past abusive relationships (where she was possibly the culprit) or you know that she gets in fights on a regular basis, you should probably consider finding a new girlfriend. Also, it's not okay for her to break things when she gets angry, even if it's her own property.
She Is Extremely Jealous
Everyone gets jealous in a relationship sometimes but there is a certain line between jealousy and insanity. Does she get jealous for no reason? If you talk to a classmate, coworker, or neighbor that is a woman, she flips out and accuses you of cheating. Oftentimes, this type of girl handles jealousy by threatening the girl that you "flirt" with, and she might even pick a fight with her. The difference between healthy jealousy and unhealthy jealousy is partially that she creates situations that do not really exist to be jealous about. She might accuse you of staring at a girl that you actually didn't even notice and she gets extremely angry about it. These are signs of unhealthy and serious insecurity.
She Threatens To Kill Herself
I am not talking about a girl that has serious depression issues and threatens to commit suicide, I'm talking about a girl that threatens to kill herself because you decide not to hang out with her one day. If she tells you that she is going to slit her wrists because you go out with the guys for a beer, you probably need to assess your woman. Someone in their right mind will not threaten to commit suicide for any reason but they definitely won't use that as a guilt trip.
