Changing times and changing attitudes towards relationship have greatly affected the family and how we see it. People tend to spend more time with their work and co workers, giving those people a lot of time to know each other. Less and less time with the family usually yields poor results. In some cases, an affair. If you think that your spouse may be having an affair at work but you aren’t sure what to look for, here are some tips to help you along the way:
Watching for changes in his work routine
Breaks in normal routines usually signal a break in habit. Minute changes in how your spouse acts signify big changes in how he looks in life. If you prepare his clothes and notice that his taste in clothes has changed, chances are something‘s up. Watch for anything new in his routines as they may be signs that he is fooling around.
Trusting your instincts
If it doesn‘t feel right, then it probably isn’t right. Trust your instincts and work on them. Look for suspicious actions as signs that he’s having an affair at work. He does the usual things; he even gives you roses for the first time in years. You can feel your heart skip a bit; but it just doesn’t feel right. Those feelings cannot be ignored. Don’t confront him and tell him that he’s having an affair but be methodical and try to do checks first.
He suddenly needs to work overtime?
If your partner never had to work overtime in the past and suddenly needs to go in for a lot of it, chances are he’s having an affair at work. Try to make friends with some of his colleagues and as them about this supposed overtime. If they don’t know what’s going on, then you probably have an affair on your hands.
Watching for a new secretary
If it isn’t often that you hear a fellow workers name from your partner’s mouth, hearing a female one is just too suspicious. If you start to hear about a new secretary or female co-worker way more often then normal, start to question things. Be especially watchful if he starts to praise this woman. “Oh, Mary is a great employee” could really mean “Man, Mary is great in bed”. Learn to distinguish between the two.
The tell-tale signs of the affair
If you’re doing laundry and find lipstick on his clothes, then ya, he’s cheating. Same goes if you see a note left in his work memo book that has frilly girl handwriting on it. Something like “Hey, how you been?” The biggest sign is if he smells like another woman from work. Remember Mary from the earlier scenario? Get to know her a little better and see what she smells like. Don’t stalk her, of course, but do the investigation necessary to figure out if your man is having an affair at work.These tips will work for not work related affairs as well, but when it comes to a job enviroment, there are specific things to look for.
