For most men, housebreaking a new puppy can be an easier task than trying to train a new girlfriend. However, this should not be the case. Although swatting your girlfriend on the nose with a newspaper for not doing as she is told is not advisable (at least not if you want to keep her), there are a few tricks that can make this process easier.
Use your manners for training

This actually can work to your advantage, if played correctly. Most women will not respond well if they are being “ordered” to do something. However, put a “please” or a “thank you” on the end and you have yourself a fresh beer delivered to your hand and maybe even opened for you. This gives her the satisfaction of believing that you are a “gentleman” and appreciate her efforts to please you .
Figure out what she wants first
To train a girlfriend properly, you must understand her wants and desires. This part will take some effort on your behalf, but the rewards are worth it in the end. If her only want is to please you, then you have got it made. However, chances are she wants more than that. You must understand that most women are easily distracted by two things: shiny objects (i.e. jewelry or the like) and gifts for no reason. So, keep this in mind, when attempting to keep your girlfriend in line and out of “Nagging” mode. Gifts for no reason should buy you at least three or four days worth of peace. (This may be a good idea if a particular sporting event, i.e. March Madness, is coming up.)
Make your woman feel needed
Also, understanding that women thrive off of the feeling of being needed and appreciated. If you truly want her to jump and your every whim, making her feel as though you need her to do these things is mentioned how much better the clothes that she washes smell or wear. This can give her the feeling that she does the laundry better and you do and therefore she is needed and appreciated for her efforts.
Some things you should know about women
Overall, women are very simple creatures, not the wishy-washy, complex kind that most men would like you to believe. Your girlfriend will feed off of her feeling of emotional connection to you and she will want to please you based on this connection. So, in order to get her to do whatever it is you want, nurturing this connection is of critical importance. With the proper connection, she make herself available to you at anytime for whatever task. Remembering that logic is not the determining factor to most women is also important. Whether you can cook, clean, do laundry or even get the remote off the coffee table is of no importance to her, as all as she feels overall needed and appreciated. Finally, ask her in the right tone. If she feels you have become more like her child than her boyfriend, you may find yourself being taught to do things on your own. So, request she do things with flattery and respect.
