For years I've had an obsession with girls wearing leather gloves. Every time I see a girl with leather gloves on I get really excited and can't take my eyes off them and all I can think about is having her gloved hands all over me. First of all there are fetishes of all kinds and i mean ALL kinds (see the heading fetishes on the homepage). Fetishes come in all shapes and sizes and colours lol.
Second of all unless your fetish is something that would put someone else in danger or starts to take over your life then i wouldnt bother trying to overcome it, its who you are.
As far as hiding it, i wouldnt do that either however i would exercise a bit of tact when letting a prospective gf know what you are into and yes be prepared for her not to share your enthusiasm.

That way you can smoothly transition from something as innoculous and charming as loving women's hands (she'll love you for that!) to your fetish without being so abrupt. Women can be made to find almost anything more palatable if lead to it in small, harmless steps. :-)
