I don't think it is out of the question, but I couldn't tell you if you had it or not because I'm not medically minded. Talking to your doctor would provide you with the best answer possible. The fact that you can keep it up in general would make me think you don't have it, but again, I'm far form an expert in the sexually scientific arena.
Heaven is absolutely right. It is very unlikely that you have erectile dysfunction if you can maintain an erection when you are alone.
What you could be experiencing are psychological/anxiety/fatigue/performance/alcohol/pharmacutical (recreational and/or prescribed) triggers that affect your maintaining an erection during sex. This is also possible as you state it does not happen all the time.
Have a chat with your GP and let him know your concerns and he will be able to put your mind at rest.
