I'm not quite sure I understand your question, but I'll give it a shot. I think you're saying that before you started birth control your period wasn't consistent and then you had sex during the first few weeks on the pill, and then didn't have your period during the "withdrawal" week. If that's the case, then it doesn't necessarily mean that you're pregnant, but that's also not ruled out. It takes about a month for the hormones to effectively change the way your body lines your vagina and prevent it from releasing an egg. On the other hand, it is possible that you missed your period simply because of the birth control. I would definitely take a pregnancy test or talk to a nurse about it just to be sure (and if it is just the pill, I'd definitely talk to a nurse and see if she can suggest a different pill or a different way of taking it - more time on/less time off, etc.).

Hope that helped.

Your period will be regulated while you are on birth control. You should be able to predict it by the pills you take. If you ran out of pills for the month and still don't have a period, you need to get a pregnancy test. It takes at least two weeks for the pills to go into effect, so if you had sex before or during that time, you could very well be pregnant.
