I'd develop a friendship again before asking her out. never know what has happened in that year. She could be in a rebound and just in need of a play toy. You'll want to avoid being that.

agreed. first see whether she is really interested, just needs a play thing or just got dumped and needs some attention to get back her selfesteem, dumping you at the frst possible opportunity!
