We have all heard them or used them. They are the good, the bad, and the horrible. However, they are at least occasionally great for comic relief. Sometimes they even can break an awkward silence. So, here are the classic worst pick up lines.

This classic was taken right out of the same titled 1979 Bellamy Brother’s hit. It is a overly romantic classic that depending on your date’s attraction to you, may or may not work. Using this line may seem a little over the top, but could also show that you are a true romantic at heart.
Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?
As corny as this one is, you might be surprised how many times it actually will work with someone you are already on a date with, but you should first make sure your date has a good sense of humor. With this line, you run a very high chance of rebuttal. So, be prepared to back it up.
Your feet must be tired, because you’ve been running through my mind all day.
This truly sad classic line should never be uttered, unless as a joke. This line has been over-used in bars and on dates for so long that it has actually worn out its welcome. However, in with the right date in the right situation, you may prove to be a witty romantic.
If I wrote the alphabet, I’d put “U” and “I” together.
How cute is this? He would go out of his way to put the two of you together. It must be love or at least the two of you can have a good laugh. If you chose to use this pick up line, be prepared for the rebuttal that “maybe you and I don’t go together yet”. You should try to read the mood and your date before venturing down this road.I may not be the best looking guy here, but I’m the only one talking to you.You could take this one of two ways, either he has a dry sense of humor or this is a very disrespectful statement. Chances are that he didn’t say it to hurt your feelings. Laugh and come up with a quick rebuttal.
Thoughts about pickup lines in general
These are just a few of my favorites. There are many more that can be equally as entertaining. If you date has a decent sense of humor, you may very well be successful with these lines or any of your favorites. There are a few other’s that shouldn’t be forgotten. For example, “I lost my number, can I have yours” or “Do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk by again?” There are many pick up lines that in the right scenario could actually work to your advantage. You also be prepared for rejection.
