A skiing accident has temporarily left me in a wheelchair for several weeks. I'm pretty bummed about it because I'm a pretty active guy. I get into sports, the gym, that sort of thing. But, now I'm spending all of my time in my apartment with my boyfriend nursing me back to health. What's worse is that the sex is on hiatus... at least, that's what I think. My boyfriend is pissed that we can't do anything with each other, and while making out and some mutual masturbation is fine with me, he is always left satisfied. I really don't know how we can enjoy sex while I can't even walk or stand. So how can my boyfriend and I still have a fully functioning sex life while I'm confined to a wheelchair?

He seems obviously comfortable that your in a wheelchair and is ok with that sexually. Let go of you inhibitions and see where it takes you. Who knows, you have have a lot more fun then you think.

If you are feeling physical well enough to have some sex, than I say go for it. Although maybe you can’t have sex in the same ways you are used to, this may be a chance to use your situation as a stimulus to discover new positions. I am not sure of the nature of your injury, but if nothing is wrong with your back and you can either sit or lay down, your boyfriend could do some creative maneuvering. There are plenty of things you can do seated (give or receive oral sex) or lying with some pillow behind you. If you are feeling well enough, make an adventure of it. And if you are not, I know your boyfriend might be cranky, but you have been injured, so a week without sex may not be fun, but better to heal and make it up to one another when you are well again!
