I'm dating a 16 year old 14 my gf recently started looking a birth control what would be the a good kinda for her to get I've heard some birth controls can make a girl not have any kids ever is that true
If your girlfriend is 16, she'll probably need to go on the pill because it's cheap or free at most clinics. The rings are great and easier to use, but they cost a lot more money. Same with the copper insertions you can get. Those never have to be taken out, but they cost $600 or so to have put in. They're convenient, but not economical. They do actually cost less money in the long run, but I doubt your girlfriend has a wad of cash like that lying around.
As for the not having kids thing, there is always a risk of getting pregnant even on birth control. If taken properly, the odds of that happening are very very slim. Nevertheless, if she ends up on the pill, she's liable to forget one every once and awhile. I did that once when I got sick, and then when I tried to correct it, I ended up with a period that was more than two weeks long. Sooo, have her take them everyday, okay?
If she gets on birth control and you continue to use condoms, you should not have issues with pregnancy...in theory.
