Pregnancy

Question

Alright so I know birth control helps prevent pregnancy, but how effective is it just alone without a condom? Does it vary between what type of birth control? (I have tri-spentex) Also if your having sex and the condom breaks but you keep going and he comes a little in but most out what are your chances of getting pregnant when your on the pill?

It depends on the birth control, but most pills are 98 to 99% effective, from what I recall. As long as you have been taking every single pill as you need to, the chances of you getting pregnant are very slim. Anything is possible of course, but you have less to worry about if you are just on the pill than if you're just using a condom. You do need to know that some medications can conflict with your birth control, so ask your doctor before you start anything, My mom had my little brother at the age of 43 because of that. Proceed with caution though and you'll be just fine.
