No insertion - no pregnancy. Simple as that. However, since you pulled out, there is a chance that some precum got in there, which does carry sperm. However, the odds of you getting pregnant while on the pill are >2% with most >1%, just depending on the pill. You should be just fine.

If you guys had regular sex like that for a whole year, your odds would be between .3% and 2% for pregnancy, but that is after a whole year. Just one time? I would guess around .006% and .04% Definitely no higher than 2%
