Hey Jess, I wasn't gonna aswer this one at first since it seems like more of a girl thing and being a guy I wouldn't be able to answer it vary well, but since you've requested it in a previous comment I'd give it a try.
It sounds like a hormone thing, yes. I could see your gyno ASAP. This sort of lack of libido could certainly hurt your sex life as guys certainly want to do it ALOT more than once a month.
Most guys would thrill to have a bi girlfriend, so it souldn't be a problem telling him. Have you considered a threesome? I'm sure he'd get vary excited at the idea. You could look for another girl at a bar/club, online or somebody you know (friend, work etc.).

Your hormones do tend to fade as you age. Teenagers are super horny because their hormones are out of whack. You may just be getting out of that stage.
If you think you may have a low libido, you can talk to a doctor about your options for fixing that. I did that when I was 18, but I think my problem was more of a mental issue than a physical issue. Nevertheless, my doctor suggested taking Don Quia and Maca Root because those you can buy at a local health food store. I didn't want prescriptions. Ask about your situation if you are truly concerned.
As for the bi thing, I just told my husband. He subsequently told me he was bi :) I'm a firm believer in being overly open, so if I were you, I'd just say it. He will most likely like it...no worries.
