are women really turned on by the ability to play an instrument?

Question

Hello, I'm a 21 year old, male college student. Not to sound like a big-head jerk, but, I am a self taught pianist, guitarist, drummer, bassist, and recently sitar player. I dated a girl for two years and she didn't care much for my musical abilities. After exiting the relationship, I began playing music around campus and different venues where I live. After the performance, a good amount of women come up to meet me and some are very forward in asking to go out sometime. 9 times out of 10, the girl is intoxicated. is this the booze talking or do women find music to be sexy?

Some women find it sexy. It just depends on the situation. For instance, an actually talented instrumentalist is obviously going to be a lot hotter to us than someone who thinks the note after G is H. If you can't play, don't try to woo the ladies with your "abilities" until you can. This doesn't sound like it is your case though.

Certain instruments tend to get better reactions than others. My husband is a pianist. He plays some guitar, but I find the piano to be very sexy. We have two of them...Haha. Anyways, that's just me. I was raised in a household with a piano, and I'm a singer myself. I find the piano to be hotter than the guitar, but most women swoon over a good strummer. Sigh, it again just depends.

No, I don't think it's the boose talking. For the most part, women are genuinely turned on by a guy who can play music well because that has a lot of positive indications. It shows that you're dedicated, passionate, talented, and...cough...good with your hands ;) Those are all check marks in your favor that will basically have the ladies swarming.
