This is an odd situation I'm in. I work at a very corporate environment. Very stiff, very dull and boring workplace. I'm probably the youngest employee working here; everyone else is well in their 40s and 50s. We also work in an accounting firm, so I guess there's not much excitement in that line of work. But, anyway, I live with my boyfriend and we have an amazing sex life. At one point we were having a pretty tough time finding new ways of satisfying one another. But, now we've discovered bondage and submissive scenarios and our sex life completely changed from there. We're at a point now where it's becoming serious, sexually and relationship-wise. We use real handcuffs and ropes, which are leaving marks around my wrists. People at work started noticing. First I got dirty looks. Now, some of my managers are wondering what's going on in my personal life. Finally, when I walked in with an obvious hickie on my neck, I was called into HR, where they kept asking all these questions as to what's happening at home. Then they tell me that appearance means everything at the office and blah blah blah. I don't really care, but, I do need to keep this job. But, I don't want to say good-bye to our cuffs and ropes. So, how can I hide my marks or make them go away faster?

Part of working in a professional scenario is dressing and looking the part. That doesn’t mean you have to leave behind your wild sex life. If you are having fun in your relationship, as long as your safety is not in jeopardy, you should be able to continue that AND please your bosses by looking professional. For all hickies, marks, or bruises, use heavy makeup to cover up the marks. You can use a thick makeup, like Mac, and carry it with you at work for touch ups during the day. For hickies or other marks around your neck area, you can wear professional turtlenecks or scarves around your neck with a dress shirt and suit jacket. Both of these are very professional, and will hide anything on your neck or chest and collar bone. Hiding marks around your wrists is more difficult. Long sleeved jackets only cover up so much. Consider getting a thick-banded watch for one wrist. Luckily, very thick, chunky or stacked bracelets are very trendy, and can also make a professional look. Invest in some of these pieces, and make sure you are covering up any bruising from ropes or cuffs. Pantyhose should be able to cover up any marks on your legs. As for your face, I would advise you stay away from that area. Any marks there are pretty much impossible to hide, unless they are easily covered by makeup. To get rid of bruises faster, treat them with Arnicare cream, or Vitamin e or K cream.
