Intriguing, I kind of vague as to what you are meaning. I imagine that you want to know why they fascinate us all. They are soft, warm, towers of perky goodness. The first thing that is shoved in our mouth exiting the womb. Mental association of nourishment, affection, safety.
Guess that's where Freud got the thing about everyone wanting to do their mother. Really its the boobs, everyone has to love boobs, men and woman equally.
Look at the website for whatever browser you're using and they will have spell check plugins to embed in your browser.... Spell check isn't just for word processing programs anymore....
Boobs can be intriguing on several levels: they support a procreative function and are therefore linked to sexuality; pressed together they're reminiscent of a woman "presenting;" we live in a society where they're supposed to be hidden from public view and it's therefore exciting to see them; they feel really good pressed up against you; they're the earliest, pre-verbal comfort most of us know.....
I dont have computer just a phone with internet. And the phones word prediction is confusing. And yes i meant intriguing. And that helps

no offense, but using ANY lame excuse is just that- a lame excuse. but you have an answer.

In her defense, spell check isn't always effective. There are plenty of times Firefox will flag a word, show through the suggestions menu that it doesn't even consider it a word, but a look through the dictionary will prove that not only it is a word, but I spelled it correctly to begin with.

I've often wondered this myself. They serve no function other than to nourish a child. People have no use for a woman's breasts after their weaned and people who were bottle fed have never had any use for them.
As a man I would cover a woman at the beach if she popped out of her bathing suit to preserve her modesty, though I never understood why it was a modesty issue since the skin on the breasts is the same as the skin on the arms, cellulite in the breasts is the same as cellulite in the legs, and while the glands are unexposed, you can see uncovered glands in an uncovered face. In fact, the mammary glands are just modified sweat glands if the encyclopedia I read that in is accurate. All in all an exposed breast should be as much cause for embarrassment as an exposed arm.
I've heard it said that the breasts are inherently sexual because stimulation can trigger sexual arousal. By that logic there isn't a single non-sexual part of the body, save for the eyes and internal organs. I've had women react the same when I nibbled their earlobes as if I would have stimulated the nipples. My first girlfriend got turned on if I rubbed the bend of her knee. Should she have given up wearing shorts to preserve her modesty? If someone I'm sufficiently attracted to touches my shoulder, even through my blouse, I get turned on. Should I start wearing a box over my upper torso to make them less noticeable?
What was said about being reminiscent of a woman presenting doesn't make much sense, either. If you hold up a finger it looks similar to an erect penis. By that logic people who don't want to appear provocative should wear mittens in public at all times.
As a woman I do my best to accentuate my breasts. Not because I want to arouse people, but because it's expected of a woman and there's so much of my structure that can't be corrected through surgery that I have to do everything I can to conform if I want to be accepted as a woman.
That being said, there is power in the breasts but it's been perverted. When my niece and sister-in-law hug me I love the feeling of their breasts against mine, but it's absolutely in no way sexual. For one, anything even bordering on incest makes me physically ill and, even though my sister-in-law would no longer be related to me if her marriage ended, she's old enough to be my mother.
When I feel their breasts against mine it's comforting, not arousing. I've gotten hugs from women, blood family included, where they will just lean in and our shoulders will be the only things touching. To me that's done to give the impression of closeness while still maintaining a distance.
When my niece and her mother throw their arms around me and pull me in, not caring that parts are pressed up against me that would be socially unacceptable to touch in any other context, that says to me "we're family and I love you. I want you as close to me as possible." When my brother's girlfriend bumped into me, pressing one of her breasts firmly into my back, and didn't freak out about it (this is a woman who apologizes like she accidentally shot me if she even thinks she dropped a small piece of plaster on me and I've seen women make a huge issue out of accidental breast contact), I didn't think to myself "a hot girl's booby touched me!" I just thought to myself "she's comfortable with me."
Their mother's breast is one of the first things a person knows outside the womb. It's ingrained into them that mommy's breast (or a wet nurse's if the mother couldn't breast feed in the days before formula) = survival. Once their weaned it becomes about comfort. A mother will hold her child in a way that they can hear her heartbeat to calm them, and for that they're usually held to the breast.
Somewhere along the way it becomes corrupted and distorted. It's no longer about survival and comfort. The touch of a breast is no longer similar to someone putting their arm around them. It's about sexuality, and it's a learned mindset. I learned it from a classmate, who had a habit of putting stickers she liked on her shirt, when she started developing and I put a sticker she asked me for on her shirt. That girl learned it from television and from hearing her older brother talk about breasts. It's a cycle that's been repeating for generations.
Paradoxically it's that sexualization that gives breasts their non-sexual power in adulthood. If it was as acceptable to touch a woman's breast as it is for a woman to touch the arm of someone they're talking to then those hugs I get from my niece and sister-in-law wouldn't mean as much. It means a lot to me now because my niece once punched a male friend for brushing a brown recluse off of her chest, yet she doesn't care that they're touching me when she hugs me. Because she guards them it shows me that she's completely unguarded around me, that she trusts me not to sexualize it, which is a huge comfort to someone that most people go out of their way to keep at a distance.
If touching a breast were as acceptable as touching a shoulder those hugs from my niece and sister-in-law would still have meaning, but they wouldn't have as much. It wouldn't be that "you're family. No big deal" that it is now. It wouldn't signify the bond we share. All of that would have the same meaning as a woman I don't know tapping my shoulder to get my attention.
It's all weird. The distorted meaning of the breast actually served to strengthen the non-sexual meanings but at the same time turned them into something that should be avoided.

Bejarrodar · im to lazy to read all that
Tiresias · That statement was rather pointless, wasn't it?
Bejarrodar · now i have to read it to see what statement was so pointless
Tiresias · No, I mean it was quite pointless to reply to a comment just to say you didn't read it.
Adrian ( Resident A-hole) · yup.
Bejarrodar · oo well now ive read it and if we never did pointless things then life would be boring
