My brother in law has an 8 incher (never seen it...we're just an open family) and he uses regular condoms. Those things are cheap enough anyways. Get two packs and see what fits best if you need to. As for brand, that's all preference bud. We're a Trojan household here because the other condoms we've used were super slippery. Durex works well for some people though, and those you can usually get for free at a woman's clinic (send your girlfriend in).
My husband is the only guy I've ever been with (shocker I know),so I have a biased opinion. I can't tell you how big I've seen because that's all porn related.
