Is it true that piercing your nipples makes them constantly hard and leaves more sensation in them? I was thinking of piercing my nipples and I know it really hurts but is it worth the effort for the extra talked about sensation that comes along with it?

I got both of mine pierced about 6 years ago and I never really felt that sensation that most people talk about when owning nipple piercings. I had both horizontal and vertical piercings on both of my nipples. When I got them the pain is unmeasurable. I almost broke my sister-in-laws hand. In the end I loved them, but for about two days my nipples were obviously sore and then the healing process kicked in. They take about six months to a year to heal properly. They were constantly hard though, but then again I had two pieces of jewelry in each one. Take extra precaution in caring for the piercing and making sure that it does not get affected. I'm sure you don't want an infection to occur in any location of your body. Make sure to wash with soap and warm water when you get the chance. I had a saline spray that I would use when I would clean them out. If you're a woman, then make sure that the first week you don't wear a lace bra only for the sole purpose that you do not want them to get caught in the fabric.

I have my nipples pierced, and while they seem to get hard easier that is about it. I dont have a more intense sensation. If you do decide, I suggest that you soak them in salt water for a few minutes everyday. My wasnt the unbearable pain that everyone descibes. But I dont suggest you do it for the sensation, b/c its not a guarntee

I love mine. My boyfriend loves to play with them & it feels really great. Plus, I love how guys stare when they show through my clothing. I've always had really sensitive nipples & the sensitivity got even better after they were pierced. I'd recommend it.

I got mine 8 years ago love them! I am 38 f would not change getting them
