I have some issues about my vagina. I didn't start having them until I was around 18 or 19. By then, I had slept with three guys, all my age. And back then I wasn't so self-conscious about it like I am. I'm 21 now, and I'm considering having cosmetic surgery on my vagina lips. I hate them. They look like long rubbery slabs of roast beef. It's so unattractive. And I feel like the guys I do date are freaked out by weird-looking pussy. I did have this horrifying experience when I was 18. A guy I was sleeping with told me my lips are flabby. And I didn't know what he was talking about until I started watching porno movies. I saw all of the girls with these perfect vaginas. I want my vagina to be desirable not only for the men I date, but for me too. What should I do?

Let me clue you in on a little secret: the males of our species aren't picky. That being said, there are always potential reasons why any member of either gender might find him or herself less attracted to their partner than they were at first. More than a few perfectly attractive women I know are anxiety-plagued by their supposedly knobby knees, big hands or thin lips. Your point of self consciousness is problematic in a different way, because it only occurs during the most intimate of moments. You should remind yourself of whatever charms netted you his attention in the first place. Then, you should cut short any sexual encounter that involves him freaking out like a little girl. Believe me, honey it takes all kinds, and even if it is as bad as you suggest, that's all the more reason for any reasonable guy to be sensitive about it, not flip and make you feel ashamed. I don't care what you look like, where the sun don't shine or where it does, evryone deserves courtesy and respect, especially a lady.

I dated a girl in college who had what now I would consider to be huge labial folds, I think that's what there called. She had a great sense of humor about them and routinely called them her "piss flaps" and "meat curtains". I really could have cared less about them but there were benifits as well. I could grab them and we would use them for all kinds of fun things. There are many men that are quite aroused by a "different" looking vagina. During sex try and remember that we are running on low blood amounts and may comment on them. Trust me though, not one guy I know would even pause at the thought of having sex with a girl they like because of two flaps of skin. Have the surgery if you really feel it will change your life but don't do it for the men in your life.

I don't think the surgery is necessary but it's really all about how you feel personally. Don't worry about what a guy thinks. If a guy really likes you he won't care about that at all in my opinion. Now as far as yourself is concerned, I think you should look at it another way. How many guys out there do you think wish they had a bigger penis or girls that wish they had bigger breasts. Lots of people want to change their physical appearance but I don't think its alway necessary. Our individualism is what makes us all a little different than one another. ;-)

First off, if anyone you are dating has issues with how your vagina and labia appear, you shouldn't be having sex with them yet.
Secondly, what porn are you watching that shows perfect vaginas and labia? Porn is very rarely interested in if the female genitals look 'perfect' or not. NEVER judge yourself against pornography. It's not real hun, just a job.
So keep positive, and love your body for you. There are tons of guys out there who like large labia. It's probably not even abnormally large...so try not to focus on the parts of your body that you dislike.
Every time you have a negative thought about your body, force yourself to come up with two positive thoughts to pair with it. It helps.
