Hi i'm 14 years old and im trying to put tampons. I realy can't put it in because it hurts. Should I just do it anyway? Does that also mean that loosing my virginity will hurt alot?
its a good idea to get some advice from an older woman - not so much a girlfriend your own age, but somebody you can trust who has done this a while ago. First off, not all tampons are equal. The ones with tubes, cardboard or plastic, are easier at first becuase the tube is a bit slippery and slides in. Also, this type is more slim and is easier to fit in. When you are first starting, the best position is squatting or kneeling. Feel yourself with your finger - slide your finger front to back so that you are aiming in the right direction and you find your vaginal opening. If you are squatting, put a towel or something under you that you can wash, and then aim sort of slanted back. You don't go straight up. Slid the tip of the tampon between your lips (labia) and point the end gently at your opening and then gently press in. If you are really bleeding it will be a lubricant and it will slid in, especialy if the tip of the tampon gets wet. If you are not bleeding enough, it could be dry and hurt. However, you can put a bit of vaseline or lubricant on the tip (not lotion because it has alcohol in it and not scented weird stuff unless it is meant for vaginas because it could cause infection or reaction). If this absolutely doesn't work, then quit trying. Get a mirror out after your period is done, and get a flashlight so you can see really well, and have a look at your vaginal area. You might have a very strong hymen that covers the vaginal opening. It is pretty uncommon, but it does happen. If that is the case you might want to talk to a doctor or sex clinic about getting a second opinion. Most tampons will fit even if you have a hymen. As for sex, at least you will know your own shape if you figure this out, and that will help prevent you from getting hurt. As Gudgurl says, sex and tampons are pretty different. Tampons are dry and don't come with love!
if this is your first timee using Tampons make sure you use the smallest one for not like regular. And when you lose your virginity it all depends on the size of his penis and the size of your vag. Personally my first time hurt only a little bit and he was very gentle. I've had friends tell me that they didn't hurt at all and others say they cried.ide the 1st few seconds hurt but after it will feel so good you'll forget tha pain. Just be ure to tell the guy you lose it to to be gentle with you and tell him your a virgin and remember there is nothing wrong with being a virgin i was a virgin till i was almost 19
No, a tampon is not the same as a penis. It's a lot smaller and a lot less painful. If you're having problems, you might want to wait until you've had your period for a day or so. That way the blood can act as lubricant. You may also need to use extra slim tampons because of how tight you are. You can move up to regular ones when you get used to it. Make sure you push it way up because they do tend to hurt if part of them are dangling out. Then just change it regularly. Good luck :)
you need to try to relax chick. perhaps leave it til tomorrow now cos youre obviously stressed about it. tampons and losing virginity are totally different. losing your virginity may not hurt when it finally happens, lots of factors affect it, like how relaxed you are, if youre sure youre doing the right thing with the right person etc. try not to worry about it until its necessary and even then it shouldnt be something to worry about if you see what i mean.
