after having sex with my partner who i have been with for 3 years i get thrush but it is only when we use a condom. is this normal? if not what can i do to prevent it?
It is perfectly normal for women to get thrush. In fact, it's healthy to and its prevention is usually not possible or even unwanted. If its recurrences are bothersome you may want to seek a professional exam to confirm any kind of specific diagnosis. In the meantime, use creams or suppository treatments on a schedule (the schedule of when you are about to/have used a condom) to control the annoying symptoms. Remember, if this becomes a problem, seek medical help!
