after you have a baby, does your vagina look or feel different? i amm six months preg now and don’t know if i will have good sex when I get done having the baby.
Childbirth is generally a pretty traumatic experience for a woman. When a woman gives birth vaginally, the tissues in the vagina are going to be bruised, torn, strained, and stretched. Although the tissue is going to be greatly strained, it should shrink and regain muscle within a short period of time. However, the vagina is going to be slightly bigger than it was before you gave birth, but you can try to tighten it using Kegel exercise.
The visible changes in the vagina vary from woman to woman. Sometimes a woman simply gets stretched out, while others feel like their parts have moved up, down, or to the sides.
Will the sex change after you have given birth? Yes. Can it still be good sex? Absolutely. While many people (particularly men) think that as soon as you get home from the hospital you will be able to jump into bed and get it on, that's not the case. Because there are tears, strains, and bruises, you need to be very careful as to not damage your vagina. Women are advised not to resume having sexual intercourse until after their postnatal checkup, which is approximately six weeks after birth. Also, many women experience a lack of natural lubrication after sex, so you'll probably have to take measures that you didn't have to before.
