Well, this is more about "her" vagina, but whatever. Anyway, I really want to go down on my girlfriend; a big part of sex for me is putting her first making sure she enjoys it, and I believe oral would be a big help in that. However, when I went down there before, the smell was a bit unpleasant. Now, it wasn't as bad as I had been told it might be (nor did it taste bad) but it was enough to keep me from being down there for more than a few seconds, which was disappointing. So, as the title implies, is there much of anything we can do to get rid of the smell? Part of me thinks a good, thorough wash in the shower would do the job, but wouldn't that dry her out some? Thanks in advance for any advice.

A good scrub will do her some good, and if it dries her out, that's what your mouth is for. The lubricant from your saliva should be enough.
