Why is my vagina is too tight for sex?

I have never had sex before and I've only fooled around with a couple guys in school. I'm not experienced and I'm still a virgin. The other night I was with a guy that I really like and was ready to have sex for the first time but something happened. I got so nervous and for some reason my vagina was so tight I couldn't even begin to fit his penis in me. It was very uncomfortable. Is this going to be the case forever? Will my sex life be non existant forever because of a tight vagina?

My suggestion is get yourself a simple dildo to experiment with. It can help you feel more comfortable with having something inserted there and help you adjust. I do agree with what Tonka posted, as it could be you're nervous, and you may be lacking some natural lubrication...and the guy you're with may have been exceptionally large. Experiment with the dildo's and fingers and things of that nature first..it should help.

Also, make sure to practice safe sex. If you're unsure about how to do so, you can always google or wiki it, or find a free clinic where they can provide you information on sex as well as birth control options.
